God Uses MITI to Ignite Passion
to Pray among Moms Worldwide

    A worldwide ministry of prayer on every continent? Yes! Starting with five moms in 1984 to today approximately 175,000 women standing in the gap crying out for the children and schools? Yes! Thirteen Country Coordinators taking seriously their roles to see every school covered in prayer in their country? Yes! The MITI booklet translated into 38 languages? Yes!
    HOW? God’s faithfulness.
    This August e-News is to exalt the faithfulness of God by focusing on a few of the miracle stories of how our booklet was translated as well as how God called our Country Coordinators. Would I love to tell you every miracle story? Yes, but it would take volumes!

God Is Calling Women to
ACO    Arise! Cry Out! was a step of faith. We felt God urging us to call women around the world to pray passionately for the children and schools everywhere. Now, we have almost 400 Host Sites throughout the United States, and in 18 countries around the world.
    More than 1,600 people have committed to pray weekly for Arise! Cry Out! And many will join us as we fast and pray for Arise! Cry Out! August 10-12. (See details here.)
    For our Arise! Cry Out! Live Event, which will be professionally videotaped to use at Host Sites around the world, we’re excited that women from 30 states and more than 20 countries have already registered to attend our San Diego Live Event on October 9 & 10! (See details here.)
Hope for Kindergarten Moms

    Remember sending your kindergartener off for the first day of school?
    It can be a scary time for the kids—and the moms.
    One MITI group shared an idea to help encourage those moms with a Kindergarten Mom’s Survival Kit.
    This Connecticut group stapled a Prayer Card to a brown lunch bag and filled it with such items as tissues, Hershey’s Hugs and Kisses, MITI resources, and a sweet card encouraging them to pray … and to join a MITI group.
    This Kindergarten Mom’s Survival Kit is a great place to include a postcard for your local Arise! Cry Out! as well as a new Brochure.
    What a sweet way to encourage kindergarten moms at church, MOPS groups, Vacation Bible School and other non-school events.

Kindergarten Mom’s Survival Kit
As you pack your child’s lunch bag,
pray!
Pray she will hunger for God’s Word daily.
As your child climbs the huge steps in the bus, and you wave goodbye,
pray!
Ask God to keep his feet on the path of righteousness always.
As the day goes on and you wonder what she’s doing, pray!
Ask your Heavenly Father to protect her.
As you look over the papers your child brings home each day, pray!
Pray that his mind will grow in the knowledge of the Lord.
As you empty the backpack and find scraps of paper, bits of crumbs and pieces of broken pencils, pray!
Pray that God will take any broken pieces from the day and bring healing and wholeness.
